The Story of Baluqiya Who Surrounds the Universe looking for the Prophet Muhammad Part 1

Ats-Tsa'labi said, at the time of the Bani of israil there was a man named Isha. He is one of the scholars of the Bani of israil who used to read the previous books. In these books he found various characteristics of Prophet Nuhammad saw. All these qualities he collected in one sheet. He hid the sheet in a locked chest. The key he hid in a place that was never noticed by other people or his own family.

He has a son named Baluqiya. When Baluqiya's father died, he had a will for his son to become a qadhi (judge) among the Bani of israil afterwards. After some time his father died, suddenly he saw a chest. The chest is locked. He asked the chest to his mother. His mother replied, 'I don't know what's in this chest and don't know where the key is.' Next, the lock of the chest was broken by Baluqiya and opened the chest. In it he saw a sheet that read the various characteristics of the Messenger of Allah, and said that he was the cover of the prophets and messengers, and that heaven was forbidden for the prophets so that he and his people entered first.

When he finished reading it, he brought the sheet to the scholars of the Bani of israil. When they heard about Muhammad's attributes, they said to Baluqiya, 'How did your father know this, but he didn't tell us? By Allah, if it weren't for you, we would have burnt his grave because he had hidden the news about the lord of the apostles, from us.

Subsequently, Baluqiya decided to leave his mother. He said, 'O mother, I have found that the Prophet of the last days will be sent. I will go and not come back until I find out the news. ' His mother said, 'May Allah fulfill your dreams.' Baluqiya left Egypt in search of Muhammad. He traveled from east to west to the seventh sea. He discovered various miracles that were not seen by others. Among those miracles was what he saw in a peninsula. There were large snakes that said, 'There is no god except Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.

Baluqiya said to the snakes, 'Assalamu' alaikum. ' The snakes said to him, 'We have never heard of such a saying.' Baluqiya said, 'This is the sunnah (tradition) of Adam.' They asked, 'Which group are you from?' Baluqiya replied, 'I belong to the Bani of israil class.' They said, 'We don't know Adam and the Bani of israil.' Baluqiya said, 'If so, how do you know Muhammad? 'They replied,' Since we were created by Allah with this attribute, we were ordered to say that. We are the snakes of Hell. ' Baluqiya asked, 'How is the news about Jahannam?' They replied, 'The hell is black and smells bad. In every year breathe twice. Once in the dry season, it was hot from him. And again in winter. That is the good in him.

After that, Baluqiya entered another peninsula. There, he found snakes that were bigger than he had first seen, like the base of a date palm. Around the snakes, he saw a yellow snake. When the big snakes walked, the yellow snakes walked around them. When the snakes saw Baluqiya, they said, 'Who are you?' Baluqiya replied, 'I am Baluqiya from the Bani of israil. 'They said,' We've never heard these words before. I am empowered over all snakes in the world. Had I not been there, the snakes would have forced the Bani of israil to run and killed them in just one day.

Baluqiya continued on until he reached the seventh sea. He had seen miracles too long to describe. Of a number of miracles that is what he saw in a peninsula. There was a palm tree made of gold. When the sun appears shining on it, then it gives off a light like lightning so that no eye is able to see it because its radiance is so strong. In this peninsula there are also large fruit trees. Baluqiya stretched out his hand to take the fruit from one of the trees. The tree cried out, 'Get away from me, O khati' (who likes guilt)!

Baluqiya stepped back and sat down. Suddenly a group descended from the sky. In their hands were drawn swords. When they saw Baluqiya, they said, 'How did you get to this place?' Baluqiya said, 'I am from Bani Israil, my name is Baluqiya. Then who are you? ' They replied, 'We are the faithful jinn. Originally we were in the sky. Then Allah sent us down to earth. We were ordered to fight unbelieving jinn on earth. Now we will fight them.

Baluqiya left them. Suddenly there was an angel with a large body standing up. His right hand is in the east, while his left is in the west. He said, 'There is no god except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.' Baluqiya comes close and greets him. He said, 'Who are you? Baluqiya replied, 'I am a man from the Bani of israil. I went in search of the prophets' cover. Then are you ready? ' He replied, 'I am an angel assigned to take care of the darkness of the night and the light of day.' Baluqiya said, 'What two lines are there on your forehead?' He replied, 'In these two lines it is written the addition of night and day and their subtraction. I do not hold the night except by the prescribed measure.

  1. You actually tried but you were very economical with the details of the Adventure. You never mention anything about the priest Baluqiya met in Jerusalem with the name Afanal kairi who mislead Baluqiya. Much less of telling what transpired between them and the snake. The talking tree and the spiritual power of its oil. As well as the episode of Afanal kairi and Baluqiya in an attempt to remove the Ring of King Solomon from corpse laying on a Golden bed in cave under the seventh sea. And how Angel Gabriel intervened before that happens. I think you need update your readers with the actual facts about Baluqiya's adventure for them to have accurate information about the whole story of Baluqiya and this disjointed one. All the best.
